About
I'm Binod Khatri — a product-focused engineer who builds software that solves real business problems. I don't just write code; I think about the problem, design the solution, and ship products that people actually use.
With over 3 years of experience in software engineering, I've transitioned from building features for other companies to building my own products. I've worked with startups and agencies across the US, UK, and Nepal — learning how businesses actually work and what software they actually need.
I build marketplaces, SaaS platforms, and tools for small businesses. Every product I create starts with a real problem I've observed — not a solution looking for a problem. My focus is on the intersection of technology and business: how do we use software to make businesses more efficient, more profitable, and more accessible?
Experience
Building Software That Disappears
I believe the best software is invisible. It doesn't require training manuals or onboarding videos. It works the way you think it should work. That's the standard I hold myself to — building products so intuitive that users forget they're using software.
Values
A working product in users' hands beats a perfect product in development. Ship early, learn fast, iterate relentlessly.
Every product starts with a problem observed in the real world, not a technology looking for an application.
The user is not a developer. Software should feel like a natural extension of how people already work.
Individual features are useless without a coherent system. I design products as ecosystems, not feature lists.
My mission is to help businesses — especially small ones in emerging markets — digitize their operations. From inventory management to online storefronts, I'm building the tools that bridge the gap between traditional business and the digital economy.
